02 Website Development Refunds
Our website development service is a one-time payment of $499. Here's exactly what happens if you need a refund:
Before Work Starts — Full Refund
If you request a refund within 7 days of purchase and we have not yet begun work, you get 100% of your money back. No questions asked, no forms to fill out.
After Design Approved — 50% Refund
If we've completed the design phase and you've approved it, we retain 50% for work completed. The remaining 50% is refunded within 5-7 business days.
After Site Delivered — No Refund, But Free Fixes
Once the website is delivered and ownership transferred, we do not offer refunds. However, we provide 30 days of free bug fixes for any issues caused by our code.
Ownership guarantee: Even if you request a refund after work has started, you keep any completed work and assets. We don't revoke access or delete your files.

Our Local SEO plans are month-to-month subscriptions. No contracts, no commitment, no cancellation fees.

04 How to Request a Refund
Fastest ways to get your refund started:

- Your full name and email used for purchase
- Order date and service purchased
- Reason for refund (helps us improve, optional)
Processing time: We process all refunds within 5-7 business days to your original payment method. You'll see the credit as "RiseOnX" or "Stripe/RiseOnX" on your statement.
05 When We Can't Refund
We reserve the right to deny refunds in the following limited circumstances:
- Chargeback abuse: Fraudulent claims or repeated refund requests after service delivery
- Terms violation: If you violated our Terms of Service (spam, abuse, illegal use)
- 30-day limit: Website refund requests made more than 30 days after delivery
- Custom work: Highly customized features built specifically for your business that cannot be reused
These exceptions are rare. We apply them fairly and will explain our reasoning if they apply to your situation.

Can I switch from Growth to Starter instead of canceling?
Yes, absolutely. You can downgrade your SEO plan at any time. The change takes effect at your next billing cycle. We prorate any difference if you switch mid-month.
What if I'm not happy with the website design?
Every website includes up to 2 rounds of revisions. If after revisions you're still not satisfied and work hasn't progressed beyond the design phase, you're eligible for a full or partial refund depending on work completed.
Do I keep my domain if I get a refund?
Yes. If you purchased your domain through us or transferred it, you retain full ownership. We never hold domains hostage. We provide all login credentials and transfer codes.
Can I pause my SEO subscription instead of canceling?
Yes. You can pause your subscription for up to 3 months. Your account remains active, and you can resume without losing historical data or rankings. No setup fee to resume.
What happens to my Google reviews if I cancel SEO?
All reviews remain on your Google Business Profile permanently. They are yours. We do not remove or alter reviews when you cancel. Your profile remains under your control.
